After School & Summer Programming | COVID-19 Relief Funding for K-12 Education

| Out-of-school time and summer programs continue to work to meet the needs of children, youth, and families, as well as support education in the ongoing response to the impact of COVID-19.
SC Afterschool Alliance is currently identifying programs to provide funding, resources and support in this work. Funds must be used to… -Respond to students’ academic, social, and emotional needs -Address the disproportionate impact of COVID-19 on underrepresented student subgroups, including each major racial and ethnic group, children from low-income families, children with disabilities, English learners, gender, migrant students, students experiencing homelessness, and children and youth in foster care. -Address the overall diverse conditions affecting students When will funding be administered? Funding will be made available and awarded for this summer and the upcoming academic year – some funding will be on a reimbursable basis. Who should sign-up?
