About

OUR HISTORY

In July 2000, ten South Carolina representatives participated in a national symposium entitled After School Programs: Vision 2000 and Beyond sponsored by the Afterschool Alliance, in collaboration with the Disney Institute, Disney Learning Partnership, and US Department of Education. During the Afterschool Symposium, our team engaged in a productive process of visioning, analysis, and planning for after-school services in South Carolina. The team returned to South Carolina with a shared vision and a commitment to quality after-school programs.
